Raymond Bamford is the principal of Alucida LLC, a boutique management consultancy focused on helping clients achieve exceptional results. Alucida LLC offers a broad spectrum of business consulting services. We serve senior management and boards of directors of both established firms and early-stage ventures across a variety of industries, including high technology, pharmaceuticals, financial services, energy and professional services.

Ray previously served as consulting director at SAIC, where he led a wide variety of engagements in business consulting, M&A planning and integration, and software and systems integration. He developed a consistent track record of delivering challenging engagements with very high levels of customer satisfaction.

Previously, Ray was the founding CEO of Enosys Software, a venture capital backed firm which was acquired by BEA Systems; he held marketing and product management positions with Hewlett Packard and Cohesive Technology; he served for two years as a research fellow for Andy Grove and Professor Robert Burgelman at Stanford Graduate School of Business; he worked as a management consultant at McKinsey & Company; and he worked in sales management at Minarik Corporation, where he was honored as salesperson of the year. 

Ray holds an MBA from Stanford Business School, an MS Systems Engineering from Stanford University and a BS Mechanical Engineering from UCLA, where he graduated with highest honors (summa cum laude).
